I’m obsessed with this intimate sunset elopement at Petit Jean State Park. Robin and AJ wanted their wedding day to be intimate and intentional and they wanted to spend their day surrounded in natural beauty at Petit Jean State Park.
Petit Jean State Park is one of my favorite elopement destinations in Arkansas. I personally love its natural beauty, multiple overlooks/elopement locations, lodging options and beautiful fall colors. These two were craving a spot that was nearby with a private overlook for their intimate elopement. They got married the first weekend of November. While the park was somewhat busy on a Saturday, we managed to find a few secluded spots so they could exchange vows and rings. Then, they ventured to Robin’s parent’s home for an intimate wedding reception surrounded by their friends and family.
Seriously, such a magical day. They even got to watch the elopement all over again, courtesy of their videographer! It was such a special day at Petit Jean. I loved that they were able to enjoy their friends and family at a reception afterwards, while still having a private ceremony.
Petit Jean is one of my favorite spots to elope or get married in Arkansas– and for good reason! It’s very centrally located and close to both Little Rock, Conway and Fort Smith/Northwest Arkansas. There are a ton of lodging options as well. Plus there are SO many overlooks– including the lodge overlook, the CCC overlook, the gravesite overlook at Stout’s Point and a few other hidden gems!
There are also a TON of lodging options at Petit Jean! Whether you want to bring your camper or tent, or grab a lodge room or private cabin, there are a lot of places to stay on the mountain! The nearby town of Morrilton also has restaurants and hotels, and you’re only 45 minutes from the larger town of Conway.
