When I'm not capturing elopements or weddings, you can find me floating the Buffalo River, traveling all over the country or snuggling my three dogs and my husband at home.
I got my start in 2020 photographing last-minute elopements during the pandemic that saw couples flocking to all parts of the state to say their vows alone at sunset instead of in a big wedding venue and I simply fell in love. Fast forward to today-- I love all weddings but specialize in intimate weddings, elopements and couples. I would describe my style as documentary meets editorial, with a focus on documenting and facilitating authentic and natural connection. Basically, I love to help my couples feel at home, so that I can tell their story in an authentic way.
I love capturing all the raw emotions of a wedding day and the spectacular beauty when two people commit their lives to one another. I love creating photos that are both adventurous and nostalgic and I love helping my couples be as present as possible on their wedding day.
I'm obsessed with documenting your love in a quiet, authentic and beautiful way that speaks loudly. I'm committed to creating images that really transport you back to a moment in time and help you remember all the good stuff.
Before I was a photographer, I worked in education. I've always loved people and helping them. But I also always had a creative side that felt stifled within a corporate job. I longed to create art for others, whether it was through the written word or something else. I found that something else when I picked up a camera a few years ago and photographed a friend's wedding last minute. I immediately felt at home behind the camera, and I loved the memories that were entrusted to me. All these years later, I never forgot the magic I felt when I was able to be witness to the beauty of life and the joining of two souls.
