I love this Arkansas glass chapel, called Mildred B. Cooper Memorial Chapel in Bella Vista– I live down the road from this glass chapel and it’s so stunning, any time of year. I’m so honored to be on their preferred photographers list and I was super excited when B + J reached out about their more last minute celebration of love.
I really enjoyed documenting this gorgeous Arkansas glass chapel elopement — really an elopement, honestly- at the beginning of March. I would consider this more of a winter wedding since it had little to no foilage and that really made the chapel sparkle and look so beautiful at sunset.
This couple visited from Oklahoma and did a beautiful first look at Tanyard Creek and Lake Windsor– it was super windy but very romantic. B’s dress was STUNNING and it fit the vibe of the chapel and surroundings so well. J was breathless when he first saw her near the lake.
I loved that they did their ceremony super late in the day– closer to sunset. The photos look so beautiful because of the light coming in. The winter light is so soft and delicate. The ceremony was very emotional and heart felt, and their families surrounded them in prayer immediately after the short and sweet ceremony.
Afterwards, we did photos around the glass chapel (I brought along my famous lanterns!) and parted ways from there. It just goes to show that your day can be sweet and short without leaving anything out.
Arkansas has beautiful glass chapels — three, in fact! I love documenting intimate weddings and elopements at each of the chapels. They each have their own vibe and they are all so magical, truly.
