Eloping in Arkansas is simple, affordable and fun! There are so many beautiful locations that are scenic and secluded. There are also unique urban areas as well. You can invite friends and family or privately elope, just the two of you.

helpful tips 

  • The closest large city is Conway. 
  • Petit Jean has the most private lodging and Airbnb options-- making it great for larger gatherings or a cozy private elopement. 
  • Petit Jean State Park is approximately 2.5 hours from Northwest Arkansas and 1 hour from Little Rock. 
  • My favorite restaurants are the Mather Lodge Restaurant and Top of the Mountain Pizza. 
  • November is the best month to visit and most of November provides peak fall colors. 
  • Petit Jean is fairly close to the highway, so it's very convenient if you're planning to go into town for dinner afterwards.  
  • Petit Jean is Arkansas' busiest state park, so I recommend eloping on weekdays. 
  • No public locations on Petit Jean require an elopement permit as of this time, however you can book specific overlooks for $79, which gives you the ability to have up to 25 guests and put up a sign.
  • Cedar Falls runs seasonally. The hike to the falls is strenuous, but you can still elope there. 

SAMPLE ITINERARY

6 PM - Arrive at Cabin for Cake + Champagne with friends and family

2 PM - Start Getting Ready at Cabin 

3 PM - Photographer arrives; First Look + Photos at Cabin

3:30 PM - Depart for location one

4 PM - Arrive at location one + Ceremony and Photos at location one

5 PM - Sunset Photos at location two; Depart for Cabin
