I LOVED capturing this cedar falls elopement at Petit Jean State Park.

Petit Jean State Park is one of my most popular elopement destinations in Arkansas, and for good reason! This beautiful mountain in Central Arkansas boasts some of the most beautiful sunset views around. Plus, there’s this incredible 85 foot waterfall in the heart of it all!

Petit Jean has lakes, caves, scenic vistas and a stunning waterfall– what’s not to love? Plus, there are tons of lodging and recreation opportunities as well, which is a total win in my book!

Cedar Falls Elopement

This incredible waterfall is just a quick 1 mile hike from the Mather Lodge, and let me tell you, it is SO worth it. M and E wanted to exchange their vows at the base of this incredible waterfall with their sweet dog, and we hiked in just in time.

After hanging out at the waterfall, we hiked back up and caught the most beautiful sunset at this stunning west facing overlook. It was heaven.

I loved the fact that we were able to capture both the waterfall and the sunset in the same evening!! All thanks to timing everything just right! I capture about 2-3 elopements every month at Petit Jean State Park, and I’ve gotten really good at the timing!!
