I love a good Eureka Springs AR wedding. The glass chapel in Eureka Springs is so stunning and is the perfect backdrop for an intimate wedding or elopement.
Eureka Springs has always been a magical place to me, and I love documenting intimate weddings and elopements in this historic place. It just has this mystic and magical charm about it, drawing people to it from all over the world. I live just across the lake from Eureka, and have always been so passionate about documenting love stories in this old and mysterious spa city.
M + G live in Little Rock and always felt that Eureka was a special place to them. On their intimate wedding day, we hit all the usual spots– Thorncrown Chapel, The Crescent Hotel and Downtown Eureka near the Basin Springs Park. The day was lovely and oh so introvert-friendly. The couple opted for a private dinner in lieu of a traditional reception, which I respect so much. We had a lot of fun exploring Eureka and even got a photo in front of one of the Eureka Springs trolleys!
Thorncrown Chapel is really a marvel. I’ve captured elopements where the couple lived in a different part of the world– they saw the chapel online and immediately felt a connection to it. I just became a preferred photographer for Thorncrown chapel and I never get tired of it’s beautiful silhouette against the Ozark forest. M + G exchanged vows in the chapel, then took some family photos before heading off to the Crescent Hotel for more exploring.
A lot of couples have a special connection to Eureka Springs and dream of eloping in this mystic destination. It really is a little quirky town for lovers. I capture approximately 15 elopements or intimate weddings in Eureka Springs each year, and each wedding is more magical than the last. Whether you’re choosing to elope at Lover’s Leap, the Crescent Hotel, your Airbnb or at the iconic Thorncrown Chapel, there are so many incredible options awaiting you.
