Eureka Springs is truly for lovers! This unique town is situated near Northwest Arkansas and has old world charm with Victorian style architecture and the quirkiness of a funky little arts district. There are tons of things to do and the little town is truly like no where else. 

I've been photographing elopements in Arkansas for over four years now and every elopement is beautiful and unique like the couples that choose this intentional and beautiful way of starting their marriage.

Eloping in Arkansas is simple, affordable and fun! There are so many beautiful locations that are scenic and secluded. There are also unique urban areas as well. You can invite friends and family or privately elope, just the two of you.

helpful tips 

  • The closest large metropolitan area is Northwest Arkansas and Harrison. 
  • Eureka Springs  is approximately 1 hour east of Northwest Arkansas, 2 hours southwest of Springfield, MO and 2 hours northwest of Little Rock.
  • Eureka Springs is a resort town, so there are a lot of lodging and dining options! 
  • November is the best month to visit and most of November provides peak fall colors. 
  • The tourist season is typically March through October-- November through February is more quiet and some places are closed for the season.
  • The vibes of the town are very small and local-- you won't find any big box stores here. 
  • There is currently no fee to elope at Eureka Springs; however, you can rent different pavilions or areas of Lake Leatherwood for a fee.
  • The most popular elopement venue is Thorncrown Chapel; another popular venue is Lake Leatherwood and Lover's Leap. 

SAMPLE ITINERARY

6 PM - Arrive at Cabin for Cake + Champagne with friends and family

2 PM - Start Getting Ready at Cabin 

3 PM - Photographer arrives; First Look + Photos at Cabin

3:30 PM - Depart for white rock

4 PM - Arrive at Lover's leap; ceremony and photos at lover's leap

5 PM - More photos downtown, then depart for cabin
