These two were adventurous enough to hike to Cedar Falls Waterfall for their adventurous couples’ session! I am currently obsessed with Cedar Falls at Petit Jean State Park– it’s such a beautiful waterfall reminiscent of the Pacific Northwest!

There are so many gorgeous spots to take engagement photos at Petit Jean State Park. This waterfall is just one of the amazing viewpoints and vistas the park offers. I definitely recommend Petit Jean for an adventurous engagement session!
Petit Jean Waterfall Engagement Photos
This stunning waterfall is also super accessible- it’s just a 30 minute hike down and about a 30 minute hike up. There is a pretty stark elevation gain on the way back up, so just be aware of that. But otherwise, it’s not an incredibly strenuous trail in my opinion.
The best time to take photos at the falls is in the morning right after sunrise and in the evening before sunset. During the day, the sun shines on the waterfall and this can make it difficult to get good photos. On a cloudy day you’ll have consistent lighting.
