A + K traveled from Washington DC to visit Northwest Arkansas for their Eureka Springs elopement and exchange vows and rings earlier this spring. Their day was so simple and sweet.
The two had a wedding planned later in the year, but they were just ready to get married already! So I stepped in as their officiant and performed a simple ceremony at this gorgeous overlook over Beaver Lake. They exchanged such sweet vows, and A even presented K with a surprise wedding ring right before the ceremony, which was so heartfelt and sweet.
After their elopement, the two went to dinner in Downtown Eureka. I think having dinner directly after your elopement makes it especially memorable. I loved being able to not only photograph this ceremony, but be the officiant as well. These two returned to Northwest Arkansas for a formal ceremony and reception at Crystal Bridges Museum later in the year, which I also had the pleasure to photograph.
