J + M traveled from southwest Missouri to exchange vows at this beautiful overlook at White Rock Mountain. And it was all so iconic. Like HER DRESS — I couldn’t stop staring at what a beautiful bride she was, especially with the matching crown!! We love a regal moment.
The two got ready together at their cozy lakeside Airbnb and cut a small pomegranate cake before embarking on the 40 minute drive to White Rock.
I actually like the drives from your cabin or Airbnb to the scenic spot because it gives my couples the chance to talk, sightsee and release any last minute jitters before the ceremony. Time together on your elopement day is so special and even driving together to the spot can make it memorable.
Once we arrived at the top, we hiked just a little to find this perfect spot. I always like to give my couples some quiet time to just be alone together and be present.
Once the sun started to set, J + M exchanged heartfelt vows and rings. I truly love this beautiful spot right outside of Fayetteville.
White Rock Mountain is absolutely magical just before sunset, when the mountains literally glow with the golden light. It’s an amazing sight to behold, and so special for a wedding day.
We ventured to the other side of the bluffs for some romantic lantern photos during blue hour. The day was so simple and perfect and beautiful. It’s exactly what I love about elopements. Even without leaves on the trees, the light was so golden and perfect and the hills below were quiet and blue. Perfection in an evening.
