An adventure elopement in NWA

helpful tips 

  • NWA is comprised of four main cities-- Bentonville, Rogers, Springdale and Fayetteville-- each city has a flavor of its own. 
  • There are a TON of unique Airbnbs, VRBOs, cabins and boutique hotels. 
  • The University is located in the southernmost city, Fayetteville, which has a college town vibes and an active nightlife scene. 
  • My favorite restaurants are Table Mesa, Tavola Tratoria, Marketplace, Venetian Inn, Mermaid's, The Preacher's Son, Powerhouse Seafood, Theo's, Emelia's, Mirabella's Table, Tusk and Trotter, Bordino's, El Cunado Taqueria, The Rail Pizza Company, Yeyo's and Big Sexy Food. 
  • November is the best month to visit and most of November provides peak fall colors. 
  • There are a lot of outdoor recreation opportunities-- this includes 
  • Crystal Bridges museum of American Art is located in Bentonville and is open to the public. The museum is stunning and has a wide collection of American art-- the architecture alone is worth the trip. 
  • NWA is a great spot for an urban elopement-- all of the downtown areas have character and are perfect for a more modern elopement or courthouse elopement. 
  • Be aware of football season in the fall-- Fayetteville especially gets congested, and daily life stops for a little while when the game is on. 

SAMPLE ITINERARY

6 PM - Arrive at airbnb for dinner, Cake + Champagne with friends and family

2 PM - Start Getting Ready at airbnb

3 PM - Photographer arrives; First Look + Photos at airbnb

3:30 PM - Depart for downtown bentonville

4 PM - Arrive at downtown Bentonville + ceremony and photos 

5 PM - Sunset Photos at crystal bridges; head to dinner
