When C + L reached out to me, they explained that they wanted something a little “off the beaten path” for their day. They remembered several trips they had taken to Mountain View and Blanchard Springs Caverns. I showed them a really cool mountaintop location nearby called City Bluff in the little White River town of Calico Rock, Arkansas. We made a super epic plan to hit up all of these spots for their adventure elopement!

The two started with a first look in front of one of the caves at the Blanchard Springs Caverns. Afterwards, we hiked to Mirror Lake Falls for photos and to this really cool cave waterfall. Then, we raced to Calico Rock for a sunset ceremony and vow exchange before they headed back to their cozy cabin to enjoy a week in the beautiful Ozark Mountains.

Arkansas Waterfall Elopement

Waterfalls in Arkansas can be so exciting for an elopement! Typically you have to be careful about what time of year you’re visiting, so that you can be sure the waterfalls will be running. C + L visited in late November, which was perfect! Although it was a little chilly, we had beautiful fall colors and great waterfall flow!
