A + B originally got married on the Buffalo River, but I loved working with them so much, they feel like they stepped out of a different era.
After their intimate wedding, I asked if they would be up for modeling for me for a cool urban elopement concept at Maxine’s Tap Room in downtown Fayetteville. I was so happy when they said yes! They have so much fun together and I was excited to document this cool spot!
We started by taking some photos by the Graduate Hotel — there are truly so many hidden gems for a courthouse elopement or urban intimate wedding or elopement. On Block Street and in Downtown Fayetteville. After we spent some time at the hotel, we headed over to Maxine’s Bar on Block Street. It’s a cool and kitschy haunt near Dickson Street and it’s an old bar with quite a history. They got in the photo booth and we took photos around the bar.
I’ve documented a few intimate weddings and elopements at the iconic Maxine’s Bar and it is such a cool place, especially for those who really love the history of Fayetteville. The staff is so friendly to photographers and it’s a great backdrop for your elopement day. Plus they’ve got a killer Pim’s Cup and cheesy popcorn!
