Hey there! This post serves to inform readers about ADA accessible elopement locations in Arkansas! Whether you or your partner use a wheelchair or other mobility aids or you have a close family member who does, it’s important that you consider elopement locations that are accessible. And there are quite a few! Read on to discover some of my favorites.
Mount Magazine State Park, Paris Arkansas
Mount Magazine is one of my favorite elopement locations in Arkansas! The Lodge, the Amphitheater at Cameron’s Bluff and several overlooks are wheelchair accessible. Plus there are tons of gorgeous lake locations down the road at Cove Lake that are also ADA Accessible.
2. Petit Jean State Park, Morrilton, Arkansas
Petit Jean is another amazing spot with great ADA accessible elopement locations! The overlook at Stout’s Point offers a wheelchair accessible ramp with stunning views from the board walk. There is also a great ramp at the overlook for Cedar Falls. Other accessible overlooks include Sunset Point and the Mather Lodge, as well as Lake Petit Jean.
3. Mount Nebo, Dardanelle, Arkansas
Mount Nebo is another great and accessible location that offers stunning views with paved walkways. There are several points around the Mountain including Sunrise and Sunset Point.
4. Steel Creek Recreation Area, Ponca, Arkansas
I love Steel Creek for it’s stunning views of the bluffs overlooking the Buffalo River. This meadow below the bluffs is accessible and you can also access the river, although neither trail is paved.
5. The Overlook in Greenwood, Arkansas
This spot is only a quick drive from Fort Smith, and you can access the overlook from a paved road. This is a stunning overlook with views of the valley below!
